Changing Your VPS Plan
Your infrastructure needs can change over time. Upgrading or downgrading your VPS plan is handled through our support team.
How to Request an Upgrade
- Open a support ticket with the subject VPS Plan Upgrade Request
- Specify your server IP and the plan you want to upgrade to
- Our team will confirm the cost difference and ask for your approval
- The upgrade is applied with minimal downtime (usually under 5 minutes)
How to Request a Downgrade
- Open a support ticket with the subject VPS Plan Downgrade Request
- Note that downgrades apply at your next renewal date, not immediately
- Ensure your data fits within the new storage allocation before requesting
What Changes and What Stays the Same
- Changes: CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, price
- Stays the same: IP address, operating system, installed software, data
Billing for Upgrades
When you upgrade mid-cycle, you pay only a pro-rated amount for the remaining days in the billing period. Credit from your existing plan is applied automatically.
